Ride the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad

This is one of our favorite trainrides. It's located in Bryson City, NC and takes you along the Tuckasegee River to the Natahala Gorge and back. You will go over the Fontana Lake trestle and on to the Natahala Outdoor Center where you have about an hour layover. Open year round.
